How To Choose The Right Nippon Paint Colour

Since Nippon Paint is having Big Paint Sale till end of this month, perhaps you are now figuring out the best colour to match your home.

Well, Nippon Paint’s webpage is very user-friendly and informative too. There are few tools to help you get the right paint for your home at no fuss.

1)  You can always check out the new season’s key colour palettes. Simply go to Colour Trends 2011.

There are 6 trend themes listed. From Sky’s the Limit, Back to Basics, Individuality & Optimism, New Luxury and lastly, Urban Treasures.

Take a look at the new Luxury Theme colours. Cool way to inject “luxury sense” into any home!

2)  And don’t forget to check on your 2011 Auspicious Colour, if you are rather particular on feng shui. You are required to enter few personal information to determine which “gua number” you belong to. A gua number, also referred to as feng shui gua number is calculated on the basis of your gender and year of birth.

Mine is 9 and I seriously want to be in pink of health this year. More pinks please!

3)  Or you may go to Colour Scheme Services and send in clear pictures of the rooms you want to paint. Nippon colour experts will advise you on the best colour schemes. Thus you can visualize the schemes before all the costly experiments – without having to buy and try it on the wall itself.

Take clear photos of desired area/room, showing as much space as possible.

See the colours before you paint. Just snap photos, subscribe your package and get the personalized support.

However, this service comes with a small fee. Fees may depend on how many areas/rooms you want to seek recommendation. If you only want to paint your living room, the fee for 1 room will be RM30 with a RM20 paint rebate voucher. 3 rooms for RM70 and 5 rooms for RM100, with paint rebate voucher RM50 and RM80 respectively.

What you’ll get is more important – Nippon will give you 3 colour recommendations plus a colour scheme reference kit. The reference kit includes an interactive colour schemer CD, printout of your selected areas with actual colour chip samples, latest colour catalogues and exclusive paint vouchers.

But wait?

Don’t pay first!

There’s a trick.

When you enter your email address as required in finding your 2011 Auspicious Colour,  Nippon Paint will grant you a promo code sent to your email address. You can redeem it for a FREE  1-room interior package!

Alright for now, I’m going to snap a photo and test it out. Will share out my test report later.
